About us
Cheshire Cleaning Co was established in February 2018 by Matt our Company Director. We are proud to be a local business that is certified, insured, professional and accredited by various leading organisations within the cleaning industry. Our nationally recognised qualifications and extensive experience sets us apart from the rest.
Cheshire Cleaning Co provides services throughout Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside—and we do it all intending to make our community cleaner and healthier for everyone! Our aim hasn’t changed since our humble beginnings five years ago!
The majority of our clients are commercial clients that hire our services on an outsourced/sub-contracted basis.
Our background
Matt has over 27 years of cleaning experience after landing his first job every Sunday cleaning for his late Grandma. Since his humble beginnings, Matt has worked in various roles throughout his life which contribute to the high cleaning standards and values we work towards in the present day.
We use tried and tested cleaning equipment and products; from leading manufacturers within the cleaning and restoration industry which include; Astonish, Prochem Europe Ltd, TileMaster and Sebo vacuum cleaners.

- Edexcel Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Business
- Professional cleaning and maintenance of carpets
- Professional cleaning and maintenance of upholstery
- Professional cleaning and maintenance of hard floors
- Professional stain removal from carpet & upholstery
- WoolSafe Organisation Fibre Care Specialist
- RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles and Practices of Horticulture
- City & Guilds Level 2 Principles of Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides (PA1)
- City & Guilds Level 2 Award in the Safe Application of Pesticides using Pedestrian Hand Held Equipment (PA6)
- City & Guilds Level 2 Award Hand Held Application In or Near Water with Hydraulic Nozzle (PA6AW)
Once our carpet, upholstery and hard floor cleaning and restoration training courses were completed, we were then able to complete an entrance examination and join the NCCA (National Carpet Cleaners Association) the NCCA is the only nationally recognised trade association dedicated to the cleaning & maintenance of carpets, hard flooring and soft furnishings. As we have held a membership with the NCCA for more than two we’re we are now TrustMark, Government Endorsed Quality Scheme and Trading Standards Approved.
Our learning and development didn’t just stop there; we then further undertook additional training with the WoolSafe Organisation; passed the training course and further entrance examinations to become:

- WoolSafe Fibre Care Specialists
