How to clean travertine flooring
How to clean travertine flooring… Occasionally sold by potentially, less honest stone companies as marble or limestone, travertine is neither, yet is often more of a combination of both.
As a sedimentary rock and type of limestone, travertine is primarily composed of calcite, which makes it a good deal softer than other stone floorings.
Travertine should be treated as limestone due to its sensitivity to high alkalinity and acidic cleaning solutions and should therefore only be cleaned with neutral products.
If you have travertine flooring in your home and wish for this to be professionally cleaned and sealed, please contact us to arrange your booking.
