How to clean terrazzo flooring
How to clean terrazzo flooring… Normally found in supermarkets, halls, lobbies entrances, toilets, etc. Terrazzo flooring consists of a mixture of marble chips set in a bed of Portland cement. This mixture is then polished with pumice powders.
Under no circumstances should harsh alkaline or strong acid cleaners be used.
Terrazzo flooring:
- Responds well to clear water mopping and buffing
- Can be sealed with a water-based finish
- Dislikes steel wool, oil and grease
